Kaapse Will’ns is Kaapse Brouwers’ homage to the past – a cozy bar in the centre of Rotterdam.
Kaapse Will’ns is our version of a Dutch bruine kroeg – come here to enjoy a fluitje of craft beer from the tap, or a shot of jenever or schnapps to shake off the day.

Kaapse Will’ns is Rotterdam brewery Kaapse Brouwers’ tribute to the past. Fresh on our tap or by the bottle or can, you will find the good ole’ classics: Expect pilsners, stouts and porters, and other classic beerstyles like Ales, Märzen, Helles, and more.
Alongside beer, we serve jenever cocktails made with Filosoof Jenever, classic herbal spirits, and feature a different German schnaps weekly!
SCHNAPS?
Schnaps is not always the answer – but it’s worth a shot!
With help from two German members of the Kaapse family, Kaapse Will’ns features a different schnaps to try every week.
From Berlin to Hamburg to the deep dark corners of the Black Forest, Germany has a vast variety of liquid courage that gets your juices flowing and a lot of Schnapstory.
Ask your bartender to try our monthly schnaps!
KAAPSE KOpSTOOT?
Are you familiar with this centuries-old Dutch tradition, most commonly enjoyed in a classic “bruine kroeg” (brown bar)? A kopstoot is a pilsner and a shot of jenever served in a tulip-shaped glass poured to the brim.
Ask for a Will’ns Kopstoot with our classic pils Kaapse Nelis the next time you come by!
BYO SNACKS!
Did you hear? Along with the snacks we serve at Will’ns (including the classic drinking companions of pickles, nuts, cheeses and boiled eggs), we now welcome you to bring your own snacks to the bar!
This way, we welcome you for drinks anytime in the day, with either our snacks or some takeaway from our incredible neighbouring restaurants on Nieuwe Binnenweg!
RESERVATIONS
We accept reservations for groups larger than 15. Once you place your reservation request, our team will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm the reservation. Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive an email from us.
Please note: if there is a gig scheduled at Kaapse Will’ns,we cannot accept reservations for that day unless otherwise stated.
